First Blog! :)

Hello, I am Kimberly (Call me Kiha). I figured I would begin by telling you a bit about myself. I have always been a bit of a nerd and have always had a knack for writing and reading ever since I was a little kid. I have been  writing short stories and now am finally settled on what I hope will be my first novel! I have always been inspired by people like Stephen King and James Patterson. It's been an interesting ride so far, I have 123 pages written so far and counting.

What I am writing is a story that takes place back in the Victorian Age in England. It is about a girl named Lyra who is living in a cell and is treated as property for Lord Adrian McCain who owns her. Although terrible, Adrian does rape and physically abuse her and all of the other girls he owns. Nathan is my other protagonist and also happens to be Adrian's son. He is constantly trying to get his father's affection to no avail and when he learns what his father is doing to these girls he figures he will do something about it and going into the basement prison where he meets Lyra and everything changes forever. It will be a story of love, loss, sadness and what can never be.

I hope this wasn't too much to put into my first blog..but I hope this will get me followers and people who will want to follow me on my journey to finish my first book!
